I’m so excited today to share with you a book I have been wanting to read for a while now, ever since I found out about it.  I have a personal connection with what the story is about too which is why I really wanted to read this book.  It’s also the first time I’ve been kindly given a book for review by the lovely people at Usborne Publishing.  I want to thank them and I hope you’ll be as interested in reading this story as I am…

The Stolen Ones by Vanessa CurtisMy name is Inge. I am sixteen.  I live with Mama and Papa in Munich. Food is still rationed, though the war ended over ten years ago.  My boyfriend is Jewish. I have to hide this from my parents.  Sometimes I think they are hiding something from me, too. Letters arrive every year on my birthday, but they are not addressed to me.  They are for a girl named Kasia.  This is her story.

I’ll be reviewing this book as soon as I read it which will be VERY soon – just need to finish another book first 😀  Let me know if this book is one you’re interested in.

What do you think of this book?  Would you be interested in reading it?  What about historical fiction in general?  Let me know what you think in the comments below 🙂
