For the last few weeks I’ve been seeing people doing this challenge of answering questions that appear in Vogue for celebrities. This is a parody of that which I found just a few weks ago on The Wellbeing Blogger and I felt like having a go myself 🙂 This is a chance to get to know me a little better and for anyone who’s interested in doing this challenge yourselves, I’d love to see your answers so please do have a go if you want to and don’t forget to tag me back! 😀
73 Questions About Me
1. What’s your usual Starbucks order?
Wow, when was the last time I went to Starbucks? Not for a looong time! I haven’t really gone to coffee shops that much recently but if I do, my order’s always been a hot chocolate! 😋 I don’t drink coffee and am inccredibly picky about how I like my tea (do they even sell tea?) so I go for hot chocolate as a way of treating myself too 🙂
2. What does your workstation look like?
Currently a table with my laptop on it, a mouse and a speaker so I can listen to music. I also keep the book I’m reviewing (if I’m reviewing it) on the table, or desk if I’m sitting at my desk, but both of those are very tidy, I only keep what I’m using on my desk and table so it’s all very tidy 🙂
3. Favourite food?
It changes depending on my mood but I will always love something savory and with lots of fresh vegetables….I LOVE salads! I also love pasta but if I had to choose then I’d stick with the veg 🙂
4. Favourite author?
Not sure I have one. I have many favourites but I struggle to pick just one, plus it completely depends on the type of mood I’m in (and therefore type of book I think of when asked this).
5. What do you think of open relationships?
I know some people have them but it’s never really crossed into my radar to have one. I’m all about that special someone and having that special bond with them 🙂
6. What is your favourite video game?
Most Sonic games and the earlier Sims games! 😀
7. Guilty pleasure treat?
8. Favourite movie?
Too difficult to answer, I have too many! It depends on my mood too. I do love animations though, funny stuff and also a lot of sci-fi/fantasy and dystopian films.
9. Favourite book?
Again too many to pick just one and I’d probably change my mind tomorrow 😂
10. Twitter or Instagram?
Both. Twitter’s good for talking and being more active and I feel more drawn to it, but I do love Instagram purely for all the photos I can look at, plus it’s an extra chance to try to show off my books and stuff with arty photographs (totally fail at doing this!)
11. Desktop or laptop?
Desktop. I like using the laptop and use it more at the moment but I definitely prefer my desktop set up. I’ve always been a bit of a computer geek since I got my first PC as a teen and I also play games a lot on it too so it’s just more comfortable and intuitive to use for me with the traditional mouse and keyboard set up too!
12. Best advice you’ve ever received?
The past doesn’t define who you are now. I heard someone say that and it changed my outlook on life. I’ve had some pretty tough and horrible experiences growing up and I really let it define how I was acting and feeling in the present. But when I heard this and also something about re-writing your own past (in your mind) it made me realise that the past is just thoughts that we give meaning to and while remembering good times is okay, remembering all the bad stuff and how it made us feel and act just keeps us trapped in a cycle of never feeling able to overcome our mental barriers. It’s not so much that I don’t talk about my past or pretend like stuff didn’t happen to me, but I don’t let if affect me anymore, I’ve become detached from all the bad stuff and am writing my own story now about who I am and how I feel – defining myself now.
13. What project are you working on right now?
Building up my blog by producing more and more content for it (or trying to), and I’m also seriously looking into YouTube and where I can find things like fun sounds to add to videos and how to create thumbnails, etc….Im also working up my confidence to letting people hear what I sound like 😮 Apart from that I’m also trying to mot get overwhelmed by the amount of books I’ve promised to read, and actually get through them 😮 !
14. Favorite color?
15. Did you get good grades in school?
Yes. I never really struggled with the work I got. I struggled having to do homework due to chronic illness: fatigue and messed up type 1 diabetes and blood sugars, asthma, depression and all the symptoms those conditions have, but as far as grades went they were a good average when I didn’t bother trying and good if I did 🙂
16. Dream job?
It’s the tagline of my blog, I want to Entertain, Educate and Inspire people 🙂 ❤ I always wanted to be a tv presenter when I was younger (I know it sounds weird but it’s true!) and I wanted to make people happy and also inspire them to find happiness in their own lives. I feel like I can partly do that here on my blog already, and if I could make this sort of thing my full-time job, and do it forever, then I’d be so happy because I love making people feel good and feel happy too 😀 🙂
17. Play any sports?
Not at the moment, no.
8. Do you have a degree?
I’d like one (just to say I tried university 😉 ) but I don’t at the moment…doesn’t mean I won’t in the future though…I quite like the sound of becoming a Dr! (not the medical type but a PhD 😮 )
I’m in the UK, what do you think 😉
20. What is your favourite kind of blog post?
This depends on my mood. I like posts where people show their enthusiasm or deep emotion when writing. You can sort of tell the difference between a blog post where someone has put some passion into writing it, and one where it feels like someone wrote it for the sake of filling a void on their blog (I get it though I’ve been guilty of this on previous blogs!) I don’t like posts that are super long though (some of them seem never-ending). But as long as there’s something new to read then I kind of like a variety of posts from different bloggers. It completely depends on the blog and subject I’m reading.
21. What do you like to collect?
A few things but one of them I’ve collected since childhood is: Coins. I don’t have a lot but I like to collect different coins with different backs to them and love it when I come across an accidental foreign coin when given change in a shop!

24. Who was the last person you DM?
Jo Fletcher Books to tell them about my review for Lord of Secrets. That was about couple of weeks ago I think, and they never got back to me, but that was a 3 star review or an arc so I guess they aren’t too happy about it! 😮
25. What’s on top of your wish list right now?
Fun answer: Move to a bigger house – I’ve got way to many books and stuff and it’s filling up my home😂🤣!
Honest (way-too-deep) answer: What I really wish is that I could make a difference in people’s lives. Whether that’s through my blog or if I could do something with my writing, whatever it is, I really want to make an impact in this life, even right now. It’s a weird answer but if I could make just one human being feel better about themselves today (like I now do about myself) then I would feel like I’ve acomplished so much.
26. Sorting house?
I don’t know. I’ve only seen the Harry Potter films, not read the books, so I don’t want to decide until I read the books – plus I can’t remember them all 😮

The new friends I’ve met via my blog and twitter who have really supported me and helped this blog and me grow. Thank you to you guys ❤ 🙂
29. What’s the best thing that’s happened to you this month?
Nothing big but I’d been planned to buy the whole Alex Rider collection of books when I had the time to read them ever since my first foray into the series two years and suddenly I was offered it by the publisher for review when they’ve done a re-print and you’ve seen them in my latest book haul! 😱 WOW!
