Today I have a beautiful book haul post, beautiful because of how lovely the cover of this magical book looks 😍 🙂  This book, an ARC (advanced reader’s copy) of older children/middle grade fiction, has come from the lovely people at Orion Children’s Books (Hachette Children’s Group) and won’t actually be published until the 9th of January so I feel extra privildged and thankful to the publisher for offering me the chance to read this pre-publication.

Unlike a regular book haul post where I show you one picture of the book, I want to share a few because I can’t believe just how pretty this ARC is, I don’t know if I’ve ever had an ARC look this gorgeous and just wait until you hear the blurb!  So, let me know what you think of this lovely front cover:

Tiger Heart by Penny Chrimes – One magical friendship. One roaring adventure.
Fly never meant to end up in a cage with a man-eating tiger. And though she’s sure she’s no princess, when the tiger addresses her as ‘your majesty’, she can’t help but vow to free him and return him home.
But the bird-filled jungles and cloud-topped mountains of the tiger’s homeland are an ocean away. And not everyone wants the tiger – or Fly – to get there alive.
With dark and dangerous forces working against them, will Fly be able to fulfil her promise and maybe – just maybe – become the queen her tiger knows her to be?

Of course being an ARC this book won’t actually look like this on release.  If you see an image of the actual cover the girl and tiger appear on the front cover together and have their foreheads together.  But wow is this a gorgeous cover for an ARC (I’ve received many that were plainer than this) and check out this…it’s an arc but even has some gold shimmer on the front! 😍

The cover is illustrated by Levente Szabo 😍 and this just feels so gorgeous and I really can’t wait to read this book! 😀  My review probably won’t be up for a bit as I need to confirm when best to post it, but you can look forward to this book being released in early January with my review posted before it.

What do you think of this book and the beautiful cover?  Are you looking forward to reading it?  What other books are you looking forward to being released this year or next?  Let me know what you think in the comments below 🙂
