Today’s post is short but I hope you will enjoy it.  Friends are important to us and often those we call our true friends are more family than just friends.  Sometimes those close friendships are with animals, and one animal in particluar is known as ‘man’s best friend’.  So this is a poem I wrote about this very special type of friend and I hope you all enjoy it as this was my first attempt at a different kind of poetry called acrostic poetry.  As you can see it’s not only a poem but also each line has to begin with a specific letter.  It’s short but definitely to the point and I hope it brightens up your day today 🙂 ❤

F R I E N D

F uzzy, fluffy, a ball of round puff,
R eliable, always, guarding my stuff.
I ntelligent, knowing, learn all the tricks,
E nergetic, always, playing with sticks.
N oisy, barking, acting the guide,
D evoted, caring, always by side.
