It’s February and another lovely month of books in the post! 😀  Before I continue please remember that this month is #Febookary, a new challenge for everyone regardless of how much you enjoy reading.  You only have to read one book this month so please do get involved and click here for more details 🙂

Anyway, back to the exciting news!  This time I’ve received a lovely picture book from publisher EK Books.  This book is on a subject I know well and although I have yet to read it, I’m looking forward to seeing how this subject is tackled as it’s an important one which a lot of children might face.

Together Things by Michelle Vasiliu & Gwynnneth JonesHer dad used to be fun, but now he’s sad.  As her father tries to get better, a young girl finds new ways to connect with him.  He might not be able to play with her as he used to, but they can still show their love for each other.  They just need to find different ‘together things’ to do.

This feels like such a great book and as always a review for this will appear on this blog as soon as possible.  There might be a chance of an aditional post about this too (I can’t say more but fingers crossed 🙂 )

What do you think of this book?  Do you like children’s books that help tackle subjects like mental illness?  What books are you looking forward to reading this month?  Let me know what you think in the comments below 🙂
