Today I want to share a poem I wrote a while ago.ย I have some new poems churning in my mind and I want to share them soon, but unfortunately my mind’s a bit of a jumble lately (poetry-wise), especially since all the recent stuff that’s been happening.ย Hopefully I’ll soon be able to share then with you, my mind is in a much better place now after suffering a bit of a blip earlier, but in the meantime I thought I’d share this poem I wrote quite a while ago now. ๐
The feeling of being lost is one I have experienced many times.ย Sometimes we feel lost when things don’t go the way we planned or when people leave our life and we were not expecting it.ย But although it may not seem like it when we are at the height of feeling lost, it is important to remember that the feeling of being lost is merely a temporary one.ย When we take the time to relax, look after ourselves and start to think of what has happened as being in our past, we will always find ourselves, or our own way again. ๐ย This poem was written at a time I felt very lost and perhaps some of you will resonate a little with it?
Lost in Darkness
Where are you? Where did you go?
Why did you leave? I need to know.
You walked away, until I canโt see,
Why would you go, and hurt me?
Lost. This place, it scares me now,
You will not return, though you know how.
I call your name, but you ignore,
You will not open up the door.
You closed your heart, shattered mine,
You will not allow to intertwine.
In darkness now. Alone, apart,
The day you chose to depart.

Have you ever felt lost?ย What advice would you give to others who are feeling lost?ย Let me know what you think in the comments below ๐
Great poem, and I know the feeling all too well. Also, the jumbled head thing… Yeah, I know that one right now too. I’m struggling with writing at the moment. You know that feeling where you want to write, and you have all these half-formed jumbled pieces of various bits of writing muddled up in your head, which you want to get written down in some shape or form, but they’re so mixed up you just can’t? That’s where I am right now.

Oh no, I hope you manage to get your ideas down in future. โค yes that jumbled ideas thing is something I've suffered. I've had the same experience just trying to write blog posts a couple of months back which is why I started relying on tags more as my head just didn't want to think straight.

I can understand that, though I’m sorry it’s been the case. *hugs*
