Two weeks ago I was lucky enough to win something on twitter.  This exciting thriller which I won via The Great Big Book Club, sounds so amazing and I just can’t wait to read it!  I heard about this thriller when it was just released and the story is one that interests me a lot, being set in a school, so I entered the competition when I spotted it on twitter but given how many other people entered too, I really didn’t expect to win.  But then I did and I’m so amazed but still a little shocked that I won, lol!  It was an especially lovely book to win given it was my birthday on the 13th so I’m treating this like a lovely birthday present. 🙂  In fact quite a few of the other winners (there were five of us) seemed to have birthdays around the same time so what a great way to celebrate, right? 😀   Let’s take a look at this book…

Three Hours by Rosamund Lupton – In rural Somerset in the middle of a blizzard, the unthinkable happens: a school is under siege.
Pupils and teachers barricade themselves into classrooms, the library, the theatre. The headmaster lies wounded in the library, unable to help his trapped students and staff. Outside, a police psychiatrist must identify the gunmen, while parents gather desperate for news.
In three intense hours, all must find the courage to stand up to evil and save the people they love.

I know I’ve managed to get ahold of quite a few new books lately, but I am still so amazed and pleased to get the chance to read this book which I plan to fit in around the books I’ve promised to review for publishers.  A massive thank you to The Great Big Book Club for making my birthday even more amazing this year and I can’t wait to settle down and read what sounds like such an amazing book! 😃
