A big box arrived a couple of weeks ago from Walker Books, filled with so many brilliant reads, but my phone camera was playing up and not working properly recently, the app constantly scrunching all the on-screen buttons together🙄, that I wasn’t able to get all of these pictures done (or even my first Inktober pics done until just now).  As a result, all of these books are not yet reviewed on my blog, though look out for reviews coming very soon and they are all already published!  And there might be another delivery of Walker Books before the end of the year! 😮 😀

So let’s take a look at this mixture of books for children and teens.  The first set of books are picture books and with a particular book about a ghost that I’ve wanted to read since it came out in hardback last year (I now have the paperback and I’m so excited😃👻!)  As usual descriptions are brief ones from an email I got so let’s see what we have here…

Where’s Wally? Santa Spotlight Search by Martin Handford – The spotlight search is back with a fabulous festive edition! Use the paper spotlight-searcher as a magic torch to illuminate six scenes buzzing with busy Santas. With bonus games on every page!

And here are reading books for teens (on the left) and kids (on the right)…

You might have guessed it already but although I’m super excited for all of these titles, Gustavo the Shy Ghost is the one book I’ve been pining to read since last year!  He just looks so cute and it looks so Day of the Dead-inspired which I just love! 😀  I’m looking forward to reading all of these and will be sharing my reviews on this blog as soon as I can get them done, so I hope you’ll look out for those.  In the meantime let me know what books you’re looking forward to reading during this spooky month! 🙂 🎃
