Today I’m excited to share with you two books that came from publisher Titan Books recently!  I saw a call out for these on Instagram and couldn’t decide between the two books below, so I asked if I could have either (or both) and so I got both, which I really wasn’t expecting! 😃  A huge thank you to the publisher for these which both sound so interesting and I really can’t wait to read them.  One book is out in June while the other is out in July and they are both fantasy books, so let’s take a look.

First is the book which is out in June…

Never the Wind by Francesco Dimitri – PRAISE GOD, NEVER THE WIND
1996 – Luca Saracino is thirteen and has been completely blind for eight months when his parents move to a Southern Italian farmhouse they dream of turning into a hotel.  With his brother dropping out of university and the family reeling from Luca’s diagnosis, they are chasing dreams of rebirth and reinvention.
As Luca tells his story without sight – experiencing the world solely through hearing, smell, taste and touch – he meets the dauntless Ada Guadalupi, who takes him out to explore the rocky fields and empty beaches.  But Luca and Ada can’t escape the grudges that have lasted between their families for generations, or the gossiping of the town.  And Luca is preyed upon by the ferel Wanderer, who walks the vineyards of his home.
As Luca’s family starts to crack at the seams, Luca and Ada have to navigate new lands and old rivalries to uncover the ancient thruths spoken as whispers on the wind.

And now for the July release…

May book haul Titan Books Hooked

Hooked by A. C. Wise – Captain James Hook, the immortal pirate of Neverland, has died a thousand times.  Drowned, stabbed by Peter Pans sword, eaten by the beast swimming below the depths, yet James was resurrected every time by one boy’s dark imagination.  Until he found a door in the sky, an escape.  And he took the chance no matter the cost.
Now in London twenty-two years later, Peter Pan’s monster has found Captain Hook again, intent on revenge.  But a chance encounter leads James to another survivor of Neverland.  Wendy Darling, now a grown woman, is the only one who knows how dark a shadow Neverland casts, no matter how far you run.  to vanquish Pan’s monster once and for all, Hook must play the villain one last time.

Don’t both of these look and sound amazing? 🙂  I was atracted to Never the Wind primarily because of a blind narrator, and I just love a story about what happenes to Captain Hook next and couldn’t help but fall in love with that cover!  Reviews for both of these books will be out as soon as I can get to them, so please do look out for these and let me know whether you like the look and sound of any of these?

What do you think of these books?  What are you currently reading?  Let me know what you think in the comments below 🙂
